At this point, we are looking for a hard-working, knowledgeable, and detail-oriented Plumber to join our team of talented individuals.
Position Details:
• Office Location: 15698 80A Ave, Surrey BC, V4N 0X6 and various locations as per company’s contract
• Position: Plumber (NOC: 72300)
• Number of positions: 5
• Terms of employment: Full-Time, permanent
• Wages: $29.00/hours and 40 hours/week
• Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible
Position Requirements:
• High School Education is required
• 3 to 4 years of experience is required
• Ability and willingness to work independently with limited supervision
• Positive and cooperative attitude
Job duties:
• Read blueprints and interpret drawings and specifications to determine layout of plumbing system
• Determine water supply networks and waste drainage systems
• Coordinate with project manager on installation
• Install system used to transport water, waste, gases or liquid
• Fitting domestic appliances such as dishwashes, sinks, tubs, toilets, water heaters etc
• Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges
• Prepare budgets and estimate scope of work and negotiate prices
• Must report any unsafe conditions and incidents
