Job Description

• Coordinating with other departments such as construction or maintenance to ensure that all work is done according to codes and standards
• Inspecting the work of plumbers to ensure that they are performing their jobs correctly
• Ensuring that all safety procedures are followed at all times, such as wearing protective clothing, using lifelines, and using respirators
• Ensuring that all plumbing work complies with federal, state and local laws and regulations
• Managing a team of plumbers and other support staff members to complete projects on time and within budget
• Estimating project costs and scheduling timelines for completion of work
• Performing routine inspections of work sites to ensure that work is proceeding according to plans
• Conducting training sessions to ensure that all plumbers are properly trained in new technologies or procedures
• Recommending changes to company policies and procedures to improve efficiency and productivity
