The job of a PostgreSQL Architect involves designing and implementing PostgreSQL database solutions to meet business requirements.
The job responsibilities may include:
Solution Design: The candidate should be able to design and implement PostgreSQL database solutions that meet business requirements, including data modeling, schema design, and performance tuning.
Database Administration: The candidate should have experience in PostgreSQL database administration, including installation, configuration, backup and recovery, monitoring, and security.
Performance Tuning: The candidate should be able to analyze and optimize database performance, including tuning database queries and optimizing database schema design.
Database Migration: The candidate should be able to plan and execute database migration projects, including migrating data from other database systems to PostgreSQL.
Disaster Recovery: The candidate should be able to design and implement disaster recovery solutions for PostgreSQL databases, including backup and recovery procedures and failover strategies.
Documentation and Reporting: The candidate should be able to maintain documentation of database configurations, procedures, and technical solutions. They should be able to generate reports and dashboards for management review.
