Job Description:
The Software Engineer will be a part of the Operations Performance organization designed to deliver value to the organization through waste elimination & automation.
The project team will engage in multiple projects in which the scope of work is relatively small and can be delivered in a few weeks (i.e. quick wins) leveraging the Agile project methodology.
The Software Engineer will be responsible for understanding processes, providing recommendations on solutions to streamline processes, and designing & developing the IT & data solutions needed to streamline & sustain process improvement.
Skills:
The Software Engineer must be proficient in building mobile applications (e.g. Power Apps).
This role will be primarily to build internal mobile applications & databases to support small business processes and streamline information flow within those processes.
Experience with basic coding/scripting with Python, R, and/or SQL and data analytics reporting with PowerBI & Tableau is preferred.
The Software Engineer must be a good communicator to understand the processes for which they are providing solutions and report to supervisor on deliverable time estimates, project progress, and support needed.
Education:
A bachelor's degree is required; area of study in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics or other technical field is strongly preferred
