The Delivery Manager will work to ensure the teams success in delivery of an Energy Management System (EMS) or Advanced Distribution Management System (ADMS) upgrade project. The Delivery Manager will have end-to-end responsibility for the software delivery with a focus on technical delivery and execution. They will work with a highly skilled team to manage and execute the software deployment, software configuration, and operational testing.
Job Responsibilities:
- Performs and manages the deployment of interacting complex enterprise software and software dependencies.
- End-to-end responsibility on the Software Delivery part of projects to meet the schedule, cost, and quality commitments.
- Project Execution control: Building effective Work Breakdown Structures (WBS).
- Triggers and validates engineering Gate Reviews (Solution, Factory Testing Readiness, Site Acceptance Readiness).
- Implement software delivery performance measurement indicators
- Drives excellence in execution through continuous improvement and change management.
- Ensures a smooth transfer to maintenance of ending projects through coordinated knowledge transfer.
Requirements
- Experience as a Delivery Manager, Senior Project Manager, or Senior Project Engineer working on Energy Management Systems (EMS) and/or Advanced Distribution Management Systems (ADMS) projects.
- Experience with GE PowerOn Reliance. (Highly preferred)
- Extensive experience in a software delivery organization.
- Strong background in integration aspects related to computer systems.
- Highly collaborative and able to work across the organization to accomplish common goals.
