Job Title: Power BI Implementation Lead Type: W2-Contract Location: Boston, MA. Qualifications: Proven experience in leading successful Power BI implementations, preferably in a government or municipal setting. Strong understanding of Power BI configuration and administration Excellent project management and organizational skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders. Proficiency in Power BI, SQL, and other relevant technologies. Knowledge of data analytics, business intelligence, and data visualization principle Day to Day: Project Leadership: Lead the end-to-end implementation of Power BI, including planning, design, configuration, testing, and deployment. Strategic Planning: Develop and execute a comprehensive migration strategy from Tableau to Power BI, ensuring minimal disruption to ongoing operations. Work closely with stakeholders to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and design dashboards that provide actionable insights. Training and Adoption: Develop documentation and best practices to support the ongoing use and maintenance of Power BI reports and dashboards. Quality Assurance: Establish and enforce data quality standards to ensure the accuracy and reliability of Power BI reports. Implement robust testing procedures to identify and resolve issues during the migration process. Technical Expertise: Troubleshoot technical issues and liaise with technical support when necessary. Collaboration and Communication: Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including department heads, analysts, and IT teams. Communicate project status, risks, and issues to leadership in a clear and concise manner. Educational Qualification: Minimum Bachelor's in Computer Science & Engineering or Equivalent Degree.
