The role of a Practice Program Manager is to manage and maintain the success of the Nutanix Practice Program.  The role is responsible for process management and process improvement of our services delivery kits which are utilized by internal services resources, services partners, and channel partners for the implementation of Nutanix products. The role will work with Service Partner Program Managers and Services Architects/Consultants to ensure end-to-end services delivery kits are refreshed as needed and consistent in templates. This is a critical role for the company, and a significant opportunity to shape the growth of Nutanix. The role may involve very limited domestic travel (+/- 5%).





Additional responsibilities will include:



·         Ensure consistency in service delivery kits with continual updates as needed



·         Recruit and drive internal resource participation to be part of sprint cycles for continual progress



·         Drive full sprint cycles and all metrics reporting relating to sprint cycle work for kits



·         Identify process improvements via Sig Sigma to the service delivery kits to streamline processes and maximize effective time spent



·         Work closely with Services Program Managers to align kits to marketing materials, education, and ensure website updates are clear and concise with latest docs



·         Build a rapport with field archs and devs to elicit their help in updating kits



·         Establish and track key success metrics



·         Assist with other partner onboarding activities including contracting processes, partner enablement, and revenue attainment activities



This is a corp to corp position as a right to hire after six months by Nutanix.  This is a try buy.  





The Candidate



The Practice Program Manager will have the right mix of services knowledge, process improvement, project management and/or personal interaction skills to drive consistent progress. 



The ideal candidate should have an obsession with perfection to ensure the highest quality delivery in the work deliverables provided, the first time. The eligible candidate should be an energetic, personable, and a high-energy approach.





The Services Practice Program Manager should have the following:



·         7-10+ years’ experience in project management and process improvement



·         Experience with process-oriented and Agile methodologies.  PMP and Six Sigma certification are required(link removed)>

·         Must have experience working with Services, in addition to understanding Sales and Channel goals



·         Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to communicate professionally with cross-functional teams including Sales, Operations, Marketing & Engineering



·         A structured thinker with excellent writing, presentation, and problem-solving skills



·         Ability to manage multiple projects, determine project urgency and execute detailed action plans; must be a stickler for details, professionalism, and quality



·         A true self-starter and visionary who can quickly assess business requirements, find solutions to problems with little oversight



·         Highest level of personal and professional ethics and integrity



·         Team player with a strong drive to succeed



·         Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent technical experience preferred



·         Strong communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills



·         Strong knowledge with Nutanix AHV, Microsoft Hyper-V, and VMware vSphere is desired
