Preschool Teacher

Our growing childcare facility, Evelyn Street Day School,  is looking for a Preschool Teacher who can create a fun environment and incorporate educational programs that assist in our children’s development. This is a temporary position.

Seeking a highly qualified candidate who can add to and ensure the effective operation of the Pre-K room. Responsible for the overall excellent care and engagement of the students.The right individual will ensure the highest standards, from teaching and planning, classroom management, communication, and cleanliness to overall organization. This individual will also ensure that all daycare policies as well as all state regulations are followed.

Essential Functions and Key Responsibilities

Planning and Execution:

• Implement the highest quality Pre-K program including the safety, education, care and overall well-being of all of the children.


• Communicate clearly, concisely and accurately with parents, administration, and fellow staff.


• Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the center’s policies and procedures as well as state licensing and other applicable regulations by continually maintaining compliance in the classroom.


• Accurately maintain appropriate and accurate children's records.


• Maintain a clean, safe, and healthy environment through regularly scheduled cleaning and frequent visual checks.


• Function well in a fast-paced environment.


• Assume any other essential functions to help make the room operate as successfully as possible.

Customer Service:

• Provide an exceptional environment and quality child care service experience that exceeds customer expectations.


• Represent ZHHL Corp. and Evelyn Street Day School and all of its brands by promoting and projecting a positive Center image in a friendly and enthusiastic manner with families and visitors.

Education/Experience.

• Bachelor’s Degree in ECE or Child Development or related field is required.
