To be successful as a Pre Sales Engineer, you should possess an in-depth knowledge of our company's enterprise IT solutions and services and should be able to relate this knowledge in a way that is understandable to non-technical customers. You should be driven to achieve your sales goals and should have excellent sales and customer service skills.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Attend meetings and act as technical expert of the assigned solution/technology. Conduct presentation of the assigned solution/technology to customers (internal and external). Work closely with the customer to understand and size requirement (scoping) and recommend a solution or integrated solutions that will address the customers requirement. Build business cases to support a project justification or a business direction. Present proposals to customers alongside members of the sales team. Deliver the product demo to individual customers, answer the technical questions in a customer RFP or Bid, and explain technical details to the technical buyers. Conduct Proof-of-Concept exercise Discuss the project scope and participate in QA activity during pre-sales stage of sales cycle. Conduct a handover to the implementation team immediately upon receipt of customer purchase confirmation or securing a project. Providing ongoing support for customers post implementation.
Qualifications:
Must be a graduate of Information Technology, Computer Engineer, Computer Science or equivalent. Strong customer service orientation. Two or more years of industry experience in sales engineering or consulting Proven technology skills, outstanding interpersonal abilities, and strong written and verbal communication skills Attention to detail, plus analytical and problem-solving capabilities Positive, service-oriented personality Willingness to travel
