The Pre-Sales Solutions Engineer (Remote) will be responsible for driving new revenue by providing technical and product support as well as a deep understanding of how the Profisee Platform can solve business issues. They will work closely with our Account Executives on new sales prospects and existing customers to close software deals and work with Channel Managers to support the recruitment of partners and to close business. Our Solution Engineers are continuously absorbing customer requests and tailoring specific sales material to better address those needs. All Solution Engineers are expected to have a strong business acumen across several industries and be able to understand and articulate the value of MDM within those industries. They must exhibit business analyst and consultative skills as well as possess a technical background.


Your Performance Objectives What You Will Accomplish

The Pre-Sales Solution Engineer (Remote) will successfully attain the annual quota by participating in discovery meetings, articulating the MDM solution vision and build supporting demonstrable solutions, collaborating and assisting colleagues, and expanding reusable IP.

On your first month, you will invest your time in learning about the platform

  • Complete Academy (Profisee training) courses
  • Shadow Presales colleagues

Within two months, you will gain a deeper understanding of foundational knowledge and leverage that knowledge to assist colleagues:

  • Continue to shadow Presales colleagues
  • Deploy Demos on either Windows Server or Azure
  • Present one or more Standard Demos to demonstrate your knowledge of selling to various audiences such as business and technology.
  • Engage in initial discovery meetings

Within three months, you will be an active SE supporting our sales team in opportunities:

  • Partner with the account executive on discovery calls
  • Sell and advise prospects on the concept of MDM
  • Build a vision that is compelling to our prospects and configure a demonstrable solution to support it. Solution Demos will cover topics in:
    • Overview of security and leveraging Active Directory
    • API and Web Services integration discussions
    • Data modeling
    • Golden Record Management
    • Data cleansing and enrichment
    • Workflow
    • Application build
    • Reference Data Management
    • Data Governance
    • Metadata Management


Requirements

Competencies What We are Looking For

  • Discover - Lead discovery calls that probe a customers current pain and situation. Discovery includes developing relationships and planting the seeds for our solution; learning about a customers technology ecosystem on-the-fly; find the reasons that our solution works for the customer.
  • Create and Demonstrate - Creatively map whats been learned in discovery to a proposed solution for the customer and demonstrate key aspects of the proposed solution through standard and customized demonstrations. You must own the room by garnering respect as an authority on the Profisee Platform, Master Data Management.
  • Learn and Know - Leverage known technologies and learn new, related technologies within the span of a sales cycle. Technologies include the customers technologies; the Profisee Platform itself; Microsoft technologies (SQL Server, Dynamics CRM, Power BI, Active Directory, etc.)
  • Evangelize - Lead demand generation by presenting the software in various seminar and workshop settings and enabling partners. You will be responsible for having an in-depth knowledge of industry trends and technology.
  • Communicate - Collaborate effectively with R&D, Services, Partner Alliances, Marketing, and Account Executives to continue to improve our solutions and processes.
  • Attitude - Possess a client-first attitude and focus on delivering outstanding solutions through technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, presentation skills, and business acumen.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; effective listening skills; able to consolidate and succinctly translate and relate market/client feedback; able to represent and discuss complex concepts to executive audiences. (Being able to speak and present in Spanish is a plus)
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities concurrently. Comfort with and track record of success in a fast-paced, high-ambition company environment.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%
