HTS Ag, a leading company in the farming industry, is seeking a Precision Ag Technician to join their team. The technician will work with producers to implement the latest technology to improve efficiency, reduce cost, improve yields, increase margins and improve environmental impact. The successful candidate will work closely with growers, offering a complete, customized solution for any size farming operation. Responsibilities

• Perform installations of precision technology equipment including GPS guidance, auto-steer systems, and yield monitoring systems.
• Conduct repairs and troubleshoot issues with precision ag equipment.
• Provide technical advice and support to customers on the use of precision technology.
• Assist in the development and implementation of precision technology solutions.
• Conduct in-field testing of equipment and software applications.
• Perform software updates, data backups, and data transfers.
• Maintain accurate records of all work performed and coordinate with the team to ensure proper follow-up.

Requirements

• Degree in Agribusiness, Agronomy, Agriculture Mechanics or Agricultural Engineering.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in precision farming, precision technology, or related field.
• In-depth understanding of precision ag technology and equipment.
• Must be proficient in operating and maintaining computer hardware and software.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong customer service skills and attention to detail.
• Willing to work flexible hours during peak agriculture season.
• Must have a valid drivers license and clean driving record.
