Job Description:
As a Pricing Analyst at AOC Connect, you will be a crucial member of our team, responsible for developing and analyzing pricing strategies for government IT and telecom contracts. Key Responsibilities:
Pricing Strategy Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to formulate comprehensive pricing strategies for government IT and telecom contracts, ensuring competitiveness and profitability. Experience in Firm fix price contracts.
Excel Expertise: Utilize your advanced Excel skills to create complex financial models, conduct data analysis, and present pricing recommendations effectively.
Cost Analysis: Analyze direct and indirect costs associated with contract proposals, ensuring accurate pricing models and cost estimates.
Market Research: Conduct in-depth market research and competitive analysis to identify pricing trends and stay ahead of the competition.
Risk Assessment: Evaluate potential risks related to pricing strategies and provide insights on risk mitigation measures.
Bid Preparation: Prepare pricing proposals and bid packages with precision and attention to detail, ensuring compliance with government regulations and contract requirements.
Contract Compliance: Ensure that pricing proposals adhere to all relevant government procurement regulations, including FAR and DFAR.
Collaboration: Work closely with sales, finance, and project management teams to gather input and align pricing strategies with business objectives.
Pricing Optimization: Continuously monitor and assess pricing performance, making data-driven recommendations for adjustments as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in pricing analysis, with a focus on government contracts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and data analysis tools.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of government procurement regulations and compliance requirements (e.g., FAR, DFAR).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective team collaboration.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Familiarity with IT and telecom technologies and services is a plus.
