Job Responsibilities

• Function autonomously to conduct patient histories and physicals for complex critical, chronically ill, and acute patients.


• Order, perform, and analyze diagnostic and therapeutic tests concerning the needs of the patient, and follow up on a regular basis to ensure their needs are being adequately met.


• Prescribe appropriate pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatment modalities to ensure the health and comfort of all patients.


• Implement measures to assist patients in regaining and sustaining physiologic endurance to include serving in the first assisting role.


• Develop treatment plans based on scientific rationale, standards of care, and professional practice guidelines.


• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members by making appropriate referrals and monitoring the effectiveness of all interventions.

- Clean Background

Locums, Inc. is seeking a Physician for a PACE Program clinic in Sacramento, CA to provide services elderly patients.   Clinic is specialized to supporting frail geriatric patients and keeping them in the community through inter-disciplinary team care.  Clinic is seeking permanent placement but will consider providers for temporary coverage.     About the Opportunity:

- Position open immediately

- 8-hour shifts, 5 days a week. No evenings, weekends, or holidays required

- Estimated 5-7 patients/day

- Patients are 100% Geriatric

- Primary Care Clinic includes providing diagnosis, treatment and medication prescription, immunizations, and follow-up services to local Geriatric population under the PACE program. 

- EMR is Greenway PrimeSuite 

- Malpractice Insurance provided

- Travel, lodging, and mileage provided if provider is locums only
