Role Description

As the Principal Data Scientist, you will be responsible for designing and implementing advanced analytical models and algorithms to extract valuable insights from large and complex datasets, enabling data-driven decision making across various business functions. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize analytical opportunities, working closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into actionable data science projects. Additionally, you will lead a team of data scientists, providing technical guidance and mentoring, while staying up-to-date with the latest trends in data science and incorporating them into our processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in statistical modeling and data analysis, along with expertise in programming, machine learning, and data visualization tools. Technical Qualifications

• AWS Mastery Deep expertise in the AWS cloud platform, especially the services relevant to data science such as SageMaker,
  
  

Redshift, EMR, Kinesis, and Lambda.

• Data Architecture Comprehensive understanding of AWS data lake architecture, database design, and best practices around
  
  

large-scale data processing.

• Big Data Technologies Hands-on experience with big data tools available in the AWS ecosystem like Athena, Glue, and
  
  

DynamoDB.

• Machine Learning Proficiency in using AWS machine learning tools and services, including but not limited to SageMaker,
  
  

Rekognition, and Comprehend.

• Serverless Computing Experience with AWS serverless architectures and associated technologies such as Lambda and API Gateway.
• Integration Ability to integrate AWS data services with on-premises applications and external software solutions.
• Data Security and Compliance Solid understanding of AWS security best practices, especially concerning data protection and IAM
  
  

policies.

• Industry-specific Tools Experience with Oil and Gas specific tools and applications in AWS.
• Domain Knowledge Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in the Oil and Gas domain.
• Technology Leadership Proven track record in driving technological change and its widespread adoption across large
  
  

organizations.
