Principal Software Developer
We are seeking a passionate, experienced software developer who is motivated, pays close attention to detail, and is well-acquainted with both front- and backend web development. Job Responsibilities
- Design, test and implement new software features that improve business efficiency and productivity as well as compete with leading-edge technologies in the industry.
- Develop new user interface designs to improve customer web interaction and increase the automated functionality of the platform.
- Improve frontend and backend data integration.
- Test diligently and objectively debug cyberinfrastructures to ensure proper performance and user-friendly interaction.
- Understand backend software development (Node, C#) and implement digital frameworks that can adapt to evolving business needs and improve upon current data application methods.
- Envision new ways to integrate our business into mobile platforms, such as iOS and Android, to keep up with the rising popularity of smartphone technology.
- Explore opportunities for further technological growth and integration and discover new ways to rethink and rework our digital infrastructure and data gathering efforts.
Languages: JavaScript, NodeJS
Tools: Code relevant IDEs, Git (GitHub), JIRA, AWS
Technologies: Heroku, Angular.js (1.x)- Angular 7, React, Vue, HTML, CSS
Concepts: REST, Scrum, Agile SDLC, Unit Tests, Cloud Architecture, CI/CD
Job Skills & Qualifications
Required
- Minimum 5+ years of product development experience (MUST be experienced in Angular)
- JavaScript, Angular.js - 7, CSS, and HTML
- Experienced in front end frameworks (Angular, React, Vue)
- Ability to adhere to best practices and code integrity frameworks
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering or a related field
Preferred
- Previous SaaS experience (previous builds on Heroku)
- Previous .NET C# development experience
- Full stack development including NodeJS server-side development
