Privacy Operations Agile Manager Dallas, Minneapolis, Atlanta, Utah, Charlotte, Austin Santa Clara, Tempe

The Company is looking for a Privacy Operations Manager who is skilled at providing comprehensive privacy advisory services across business units, executing privacy-by-design principles, and highly adaptive in carrying out day-to-day tasks in an agile environment. Reporting to the Director of Privacy, this candidate delivers on maturity roadmaps, OKRs, and is relentless in value delivery. The successful candidate is passionate about finding creative data processing solutions, performing complex assessments, mitigating risk, and propagating a culture of privacy

The Privacy Operations Manager will be highly collaborative across a complex data ecosystem, including product, client services, engineering, governance, compliance, procurement, and legal. You will be a self-starter and perform thorough, documented privacy reviews and mitigate privacy-impacting concerns. You will lead other analysts, be lead PM, and be highly agile across multiple workstreams. You will conduct privacy training and awareness campaigns across lines of business. Aid with data asset inventory updates, mapping, readiness assessments, incident response, and fielding inquiries. Be capable of surging to support additional projects and multi-task across workstreams. You will be the primary privacy advisor for the software engineering teams responsible for developing the Bank's online banking access portal to ensure privacy-by-design principles are embedded at every stage of the software development life cycle.

You will elevate The Company's Privacy programs with speed and scale to meet our growth and propel privacy as a world-class service using tools and practices. You would need to perform in a fast-paced environment, think strategically and deliver tactically in an agile environment.

Qualifications/Skills

  • B.A. or B.S degree required with a minimum of 5+ years of privacy or related legal, regulatory compliance experience in a large enterprise, and 2-years of leadership experience
    • Understanding of privacy principles and regulations such as GDPR, CCPA, and PIPEDA.
    • One or more professional certifications such as Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM), Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP), (or willingness to obtain within 6-months).
    • Excellent organizational, influence, collaboration, and project management skills
    • Excellent interpersonal communication and presentations skills.
    • Experience with PIAs, DPIAs, ROPAs, and other assessments across product lines.
    • Experience with One Trust, Office 365 applications, Teams, Jira, and Tableau.
    Preferred Skills

    Strong analytical skills: detail-oriented with an ability to develop and apply complex concepts.

    Strong project management skills: ability to organize and track projects in an agile environment.

    Technically proficient in performing assigned duties within a team environment.

    Understanding and refining privacy metrics, risk reduction, and value delivery.

    Demonstrated excellence in stakeholder management, change management, and building collaborative partnerships at all levels within a matrix organization.
