Job Description

Privacy Officer:

In collaboration with Global Privacy Team and local business functions, enable and drive the Privacy compliance program through effective implementation of Philips Privacy Framework in Japan.

Your role:

Implement and promoted the Privacy Compliance Program in the region.
Provide legal/operational support to the businesses in Philips Japan.
Provide appropriate and timely training and increase awareness of privacy and data protection.
Provide feedback to Global Privacy Team and business units on local regulations and practices for the development and deployment of products and services.
Lead response to privacy incidents.
Handle with privacy requests and privacy Authority Investigations / Litigations.
Collaborate with global and local team for further privacy and security programs.

You're the right fit if:

3+ years of experience in legal role. Privacy roles is preferrable.
Self-motivated and able to prioritize to handle multiple tasks/responsibilities.
Maintain knowledge of privacy laws(APPI, GDPR)
Fluent in Japanese and English.
Bachelor, Master or Doctor degree in law or other relevant subject.
CIPP or other privacy certificates is a plus.
