Job Role: Private Equity BA
Location: Greenwich, CT
Duration: 12+ Months Contract
Responsibilities:
- Gathering and tracking business requirements for application enhancements. Analyzing current business processes to determine the optimal IT solution to address a need. Collaborating with IT colleagues to leverage shared IT platforms.
- Manage fund onboarding, data maintenance, and application runbooks. The candidate will need to write queries to analyze data, address issues with the data as they arise, and reconcile data between source systems.
- Role includes additional operational responsibilities around existing applications and documenting any change requests in form of a development backlog and working with the development team in testing and releasing the enhancements in production.
- Assist with various PE Controller projects and enhancements.
Mandatory Skills Description:
- Private equity experience in investment banking.
- 5 to 7 years' experience working in the financial industry in a technology role.
- Experience with gathering business requirements and writing functional specifications.
- Ability to write SQL statements of basic to medium complexity.
- Fluency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables).
- Experience with partnership accounting/Alternative investments preferred.
