Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity for an engineer with new product process development and commercialization experience to work on programs aimed to treat vascular diseases.

This person will lead process development of new products, ensuring that manufacturing processes meet product and project requirements, as well as identifying and recommending solutions for complex technical issues. Activities include process technology development, pilot line development, prototyping, manufacturing transfers from site to site and contributing to technical team meetings regarding these topics.


Your role:


Initiating, leading, and executing on product industrialization activities including equipment selection, process development, process characterization and process validation, in support of new product development as well as design changes.
Designing for manufacturing, equipment, and labor capacity planning.
Driving key performance indicators such as Cost of Goods, Yield, Output and Quality throughout projects and into commercialization.
Manufacturing input focusing on Design for Manufacturability, Reliability, Serviceability.
Providing in-depth knowledge for problem solving linked to Manufacturing processes and equipment.
Collaborating with cross-functional team members throughout product development phases to ensure program success.


You're the right fit if:


You have a BS Engineering degree or equivalent work experience, MS degree in engineering preferred.
Youve acquired 3+ years of experience in product/process development in the medical device industry. Experience with stents, catheters, or delivery systems, preferred.
Your skills include proficiency with FDA QSR/cGMP and ISO13485 requirements to maintain commitment to environmental and quality regulations and knowledge of process characterization and process validation utilizing Statistical tools, DOE, DFSS etc.
You have a successful record of accomplishment executing complex manufacturing or new product development projects / programs / improvement opportunities (timelines, quality, capacity, capability, cost, productivity some key metrics).
