The Process Development Technician is primarily responsible for supporting the development, optimization and transfer of new products, processes and technologies.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Build product through all phases of Product Realization in both a cleanroom and general manufacturing environment
Assist in the design of fixturing and procurement of equipment
Installing and maintaining equipment / fixturing
Utilize manual and/or automated measurement equipment/tools.
Accurately draft and optimize manufacturing procedures
Proficient at solving problems in a timely manner
Understands cause and effect as it pertains to process development
Works with a positive attitude and acts within the corporate guiding principles
Adheres to the Code of Conduct Policy as relates to position
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and/or Experience:
o High School Diploma or GED
o 2-year degree or related vocational/ apprenticeship education preferred or 5-7 years equivalent industry experience
Mechanical or electrical background preferred
Medical component or device manufacturing is preferred
Experience working in a cleanroom environment
Must be self-motivated, ambitious and able to work effectively on a team
Strong experimental and hands-on technical skills
Ability to diagnose and solve problems with complex systems
