The Why

Due to growth, we are currently seeking to add a Procurement Intern to our exceptional team. You will be responsible for maintaining inventory levels, quoting client orders, purchasing equipment and maintaining relationships with our vendors. You will need to be outgoing, customer-service focused, extremely organized, and detail-oriented. Successful incumbents in this role will have a passion for numbers and interest in working in a collaborative and team environment.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Creating and updating purchase orders.
  • Quoting orders and projects.
  • Equipment returns to vendors.
  • Ordering equipment from accepted orders.
  • Tracking products during shipment.
  • Maintaining relationships with vendors.
  • Ensures accuracy of all orders and data entry.
  • Receiving products and associating with client orders or entering into inventory.
  • Respond to customer and vendor inquiries about order status, changes, or cancellations.
  • Manage inventory levels in office and vehicles via reports, and place orders when necessary.
  • Contact and follow up with vendors to schedule or expedite deliveries, value/product discrepancies and order issues.

Requirements


  • Basic knowledge of MS Office.
  • Must be able to lift boxes up to 50lbs.
  • Ability to multi-task and function collaboratively as a member of a fast-paced, client orientated team.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; embodies a positive attitude; able to build relationships within the company and with clients and external vendors.
  • Superior communication skills required.
  • High level of organization; strong attention to detail required.
  • Enthusiastic and dedicated to the challenges of a growing company and client base.
  • Excellent follow-through with the ability to see tasks through completion.
  • Self-starter with the ability to perform independently with little supervision.
  • Ability to pass a background check.
  • Current, valid US driver's license is required.
