As a Product Architect youll be responsible for the pro value stream lookingafter the application and development of WiZ products and technologies in the vast Pro market!

What youll do

This position opens a great opportunity for those who wish to contribute to development and further growth of the largest IoT ecosystem in the world:

Provide technical solutions to business challenges.
Ensure sound architectural choices that support the large volumes of the platform as well as our long term goals on scalability, flexibility and cost control
Guide cross-functional development teams (Embedded, Cloud, App, QA) to effectively deliver new products and features.
Work with the product & project manager in defining the road-map for the devices & facilitate the collaboration with R&D teams.
Be the gatekeeper for the software delivered by the teams - content and quality
Work with colleagues in research & HW development teams in defining and reviewing the contents of upcoming products
Keep the backlog prioritized and aligned with all stake holders for the development team
Work on proposing architectural improvements and run-way along with the NPDL project and system features



Your qualifications

Overall, 8-14 years in software development and architecture, ideally in IoT development.
At least 5+ years working on software development either in backend microservices on AWS and having worked on IoT / Smart Home products is a plus.
Experience as a software architect or other technical lead role with overarching understanding of the whole system architecture between backend and front-end.
Extensive knowledge of network communication protocols (IP/TCP/UDP/MQTT/Wi-Fi technologies), and security/privacy concepts
Some knowledge in the lighting industry, and more specifically in the Professional side of that market is a big plus.
Ability to articulate functional requests into technical issues.
Ability to work as a central contact point across several teams.
Bachelors degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or related discipline
Demonstrable experience effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive results. Affinity with Smart Home / IoT space is strongly preferred.
Outstanding communication, presentation, leadership, and project management skills
