Fresh off a Series B $30M raise, co-led by Declaration Partners and 14W with additional investment from previous investor Charles River Ventures, and new investors Endeavor, Jessica Alba, Adam Grant and many others, ResortPass is just at the beginning of creating an entirely new category of hospitality.About the role The Product Designer for Hotels (mid-level position) will be responsible for creating value for our current and future hotel partners to achieve our goal of establishing the deepest relationships with the worlds best hotels. You will help design, research, and strategize the ResortPass B2B experience. Your audience will be new and loyal hotel staff, as well as overnight guests of said hotels. Youll be responsible for creation and iteration of everything our hotel partners useincluding our hotel software, hotel white-label, and internal tools. Reporting into the Product Design Manager and working closely with our product, engineering and sales/account management teams, we are looking for a candidate that is excited about transforming the technology landscape for our hotel partners and internal customers. You will also partner closely with our ResortPass B2C consumer marketplace team to identify points of leverage that benefit both of our product lines. The base salary for this role will range from $120,000 - $140,000 per year, commensurate with experience. What You Will Do Collaborate deeply with the B2B product team to craft thoughtful, and meaningful solutions to our customers' problems. This includes: Lead Product Manager of Hotels Hotels Engineering Team, Backend and Frontend QA Team Partner with our sales and account management teams to grow the adoption and engagement of our hotel products. This includes: Streamlining the hotel onboarding process Innovating upon complex tools and hotel software to look and function far better than what exists in the market today Developing our hotel microsite product with greater personalization and functionality for overnight hotel guests Designing educational collateral for sales team use across our website and other platforms Leverage customer usage, feedback, and data to continually iterate, innovate, and evolve the product experience. This includes: Cultivating relationships with our hotel partners for 1:1 customer interviews Developing design experiments: surveys, prototype testing, usability studies, etc. Partnering with data analysts and customer support to analyze user trends Elevate product design as a whole and contribute to the company's mission. This includes: Maintaining and improving our design system Working at various resolutions depending on the situation, from quick sketches through polished high resolution prototypes with hand-off notes Working closely with other designers and support team culture Facilitating critiques and brainstorms Communicating how design contributes to company goals RequirementsWho you are You must submit a digital portfolio that showcases product design thinking to be considered for this role. We believe in a holistic approach when evaluating talent for our team. 4+ years of experience as a product designer with at least 2 years in a B2B environment; hospitality experience is a bonus. Experience designing in parity across web and app using Figma An ability to showcase a solid understanding of insights on user behavior and a demonstrated track record of sourcing data, both qualitative and quantitative, to make informed decisions that align with your audience A deep understanding of the design and development process, including design sprints, rapid prototyping, concept testing, co-creation, and QA An ability to present ideas and rationale confidently and clearly in a way that invites collaboration and iteration. Strong written and verbal communication skills are of extreme importance, especially due to our remote team environment A deep understanding of design system architecture (custom, MUI, HIG) and WCAG accessibility guidelines. Comprehensive documentation and organizational skills because you believe note-taking and file structure are just as important as beautiful UI A proven history of valuing high quality, well crafted, visual design, and care about the details A habit of staying on top of the latest technology trends, industry design standards, and new approaches in design and sharing them with your colleagues Curiosity, humility, hospitableness, and an ability to navigate ambiguity A good human being While building a startup is hard, being a good human being is not.
