JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking an experienced individual to lead aerospace material development projects at our location in Burbank, California. As a Product Development Chemist, you will conduct bench work to support new product development projects and collaborate with chemists, materials scientists, and engineers to develop and optimize adhesives, sealants and coatings products for aerospace and aviation applications.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct hands-on work in the laboratory, including formulating and testing adhesives, sealants and coatings.
Collaborate with chemists, materials scientists, and engineers to improve adhesive formulations.
Work collaboratively with teams to solve technical problems.
Maintain high quality lab work and a detailed record of lab notebook.
Qualifications
Technical degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, materials science, polymer science, or a related field.
Bachelor's degree with 0-5 years of experience, Master's degree preferred.
Formulation and design of experiments experience; preferably with adhesives, sealants, composites, or coatings experience.
Detail-oriented with strong focus on bench work.
