Responsibilities: -

  • Lab Organization: Work alongside other lab associates on polymer processing, polymer characterization, and develop experiments to accelerate innovation projects.
  • Process Effectiveness: Ensure appropriate processes are followed for effective and timely stakeholder engagement and completion of assignments.
  • Innovation: Contribute to the development of creative and novel solutions to technical problems including method development.
  • Customer Focus: Develop an understanding of customer needs and processes to ensure relevant and innovative product development solutions.
  • Continuous Learning: Actively seek training to improve skills. Ensure technical lessons are reviewed, learned, and disseminated.
  • Actively teach and promote learning.

Requirement: -

  • Bachelor's Degree in a Technical Field /Engineering Field.
  • 0-5 years relevant experience in a technical discipline, or a combination of equivalent education and experience.
  • Experience with polymer processing specifically compounding/extrusion, material formulation development, polymer characterization/testing instruments, and equipment.
  • Training in laboratory safety and procedures.
  • Experience operating three or more specific instruments/equipment (including Instron mechanical tester; TGA; DSC; Instron; Extruders; rheometers; is preferred.
  • Good technical skills and judgment.
  • Basic understanding of disciplined product development processes, regulatory and quality requirements.
  • Good communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong fit with client values.
  • Experience with statistical analysis and software (e.g. Minitab) preferred
  • Proficient in MS Office / Word / Excel / PowerPoint.
