Product Management Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Product Management Specialist to join our Product Management team at Mercer. You will play a role in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of our product disclosure statements, policy reviews, event notices, and other important documents. Your attention to detail and superannuation industry knowledge will be essential in maintaining our high standards and meeting regulatory requirements.

We will count on you to:


Carry out product management activities for assigned product offers.
Produce product disclosure statements, policy documents and significant event notices ensuring accuracy and compliance with product rules and regulatory guidelines.
Conduct policy and process reviews and provide recommendations for improvements or updates.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information and data for documentation preparation, co-ordinate policy changes and the rollout of process improvements.
Produce various regulatory and management reporting as required by various boards, regulatory bodies and other key stakeholders.
Stay up to date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to superannuation products.
Provide technical input to, and review from a product perspective, a range of communications that relate to the assigned products.
Manage the process of responding to product related surveys run by various external ratings houses and tender managers.
Provide subject matter expertise for assigned products and respond to various product queries.
Work with distribution partners to manage and enhance the overall proposition.

What you need to have:


Product management experience within the superannuation industry would be highly regarded.
Knowledge of superannuation products, regulations, and compliance requirements.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in document preparation.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and other relevant software applications.
RG146 qualification would be well regarded.
