About the Role:

Wider Circle is looking for a Product Manager to lead the transformation of our Community Management tools and platforms. We are growing fast and facilitating connections among hundreds of new communities each week. To support this growth, we are building/implementing tools and platforms that empower our community engagement teams and volunteers to have a broader reach and stay on top of engagement and support needs within their communities. You will own the vision, roadmap, planning, and execution of these tools and platforms. You will collaborate widely across the organization, including with researchers, designers, engineering, data, operations, customer success, and marketing teams, to define our business and user needs for this platform and incrementally deliver a solution that simplifies and scales our workflows.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop a deep understanding of the community-based user types, their needs, and Wider Circle journeys.
  • Define a vision and roadmap for the Community Management tools and platforms that align with our broader technology vision and business objectives.
  • Define and prioritize product requirements with an understanding of the stakeholders, customers, and member needs.
  • As a product owner, create Epics and User Stories, prioritize the backlog, and work with Engineering and QA to complete product delivery.
  • Define test scenarios for products, and work closely with QA processes to ensure high-quality outcomes.
  • Coordinate with internal and external development teams and field operations at Wider Circle to ensure successful product launches.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Product Management experience with data-intensive or technical products within an Agile development environment
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, analytical skills, attention to detail, and comfort working nimbly in a fast-paced environment
  • Desired: Experience in the healthcare field or similar work building communities.
  • Desired: Experience working with or building products for the Salesforce application.
  • Desired: Experience developing and launching successful mobile applications.
  • Desired: Experience working with UX designers.
