About the Role

Qwake is seeking an experienced Product Manager to drive the development and delivery of our innovative C-THRU platform and AR HW Device. In this role, you will work closely with the Engineering, Design, and Business Development teams to define product requirements, create user stories, and prioritize features to ensure successful product launches.

Initially reporting to the CEO, the Product Manager will be responsible for managing the product roadmaps, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals, and delivering a seamless user experience for First Responders.

Role Deliverables

• Develop and maintain a comprehensive product roadmap, ensuring alignment with company strategy and objectives
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
• Prioritize features based on market and customer needs, balancing short-term and long-term objectives
• Work closely with engineering and design teams to ensure successful product development and launch
• Continuously monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and customer feedback to inform product decisions
• Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success
• Assist with go-to-market strategy, including product positioning, messaging, and launch plans

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in product management, preferably in a tech startup or similar fast-paced environment
• Experience at an early stage startup owning an IoT SW enabled HW product end-to-end
• Background in software & hardware engineering
• Strong technical background, with experience in augmented reality, IoT, or related fields
• Proven track record of successfully managing and launching products from concept to market
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and with external partners
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools, such as Jira or Trello

• BSc, MS, or MBA in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in product management (HW & SW)
• Ability to think strategically, work within a team but deliver work independently (remote)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to engage in vigorous discussion and debate then make decisions and commit
• Self-leadership:
  • A self-starter who starts by asking questions to clarify actions
