Overview:

Our client seeks an entrepreneurial-spirited Product Solutions Engineer to work alongside our solutions development team to present the laser rewritable labeling system to clients. This role would help deliver solutions to the client's technical problems by providing support throughout the pre & post-sales stages, implementation, and initial support phase of our projects. In this vital role, the Product Solutions Engineer will be an essential part of our client's success in delighting customers with tremendous sustainability value.

Responsibilities:

• Review of project plans and specifications, including QCD&S (Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Safety)
• Provide and create documents, including blueprints, artist renderings, 2D & 3D drawings, and others as needed.
• Generate reports regarding the engineer's reviews and findings.
• Problem-solving throughout the development and implementation of projects.
• Communicate and work with customers and partners to develop and implement solutions.
• Review solutions and ideas provided by technical sales engineers, develop drawings, and finalize physical products.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor in Computer, Software, Mechanical Engineering, or a similar degree.
• 5+ yrs experience with Software and Hardware Systems Development and implementation, ideally with Warehouse Conveyor System Integration, technical writing, use of 3D Modeling (CAD or similar), and C++/C#/Java programming
• Proven experience in supporting your sales counterpart during a sales process in identifying additional opportunities and assisting in driving opportunities to closure
• Strong technical and software system knowledge
• Excellent project management skills, multi-task, prioritizing, managing time effectively, and ability to work independently
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot fundamental technical issues and provide step-by-step technical help
• Excellent verbal and written communication along with presentation skills
• Have a collaborative attitude and a solid ability to build relationships with teammates, customers, and partners
• Ability to communicate complex technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiences in person, via phone, or email
• Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
• 25% Domestic and International travel to customer and vendor meetings
• Bilingual Japanese-English preferred.
