For this reason, we are seeking ambitious, talented, and driven professionals to join our team, as we are growing and scaling. This role would involve being part of the sales team, and in fact helping to build a great sales team by training all the new sales hires right from induction.

You will need an extensive knowledge of the product, and the industry/legal market, in order to have the ability and credibility to train the sales team to a standard that will all them to ensure that the law firms they are calling and/or demonstrating to select LEAP as their future provider.

OVERVIEW

Onboarding Product Training for New Hires on the New Business Sales Team:

  • Schedule and conduct product training sessions with new members of the sales team
  • Keep onboarding training materials up-to-date with the latest company and product information
  • Keep detailed notes and checklists for new hires outlining progress and feedback and share with new hires
  • Conduct 30, 60, 90 day follow ups with new hires
  • Provide the Sales team with updates on new features
  • Develop new product training curriculums when necessary
  • Perform product demonstrations for new hires across all LEAP depts

Sales and Marketing Alignment

  • Assist marketing by providing content for sales collateral
  • Give feedback on/edit marketing collateral when requested
  • Present product demonstrations to various marketing outlets when required
  • Present product demonstrations to potential LEAP partners, if necessary

Work towards:

  • Ongoing Training/Coaching for Existing Team Members on the New Business Sales Team:
    • Schedule and conduct training sessions with existing member of the sales team
    • Watch Gong calls and give constructive criticism/feedback on performance particularly around the LEAP product and features (SDRs and BDMs)
    • Conduct 1:1 coaching sessions with each BDM and SDR where necessary
    • Maintain a log of performance notes for each of the BDMs and SDRs
    • Organize ongoing product training and continuing education for existing members of the sales team
  • Pre Sales Assistance for the New Business Sales Team:
    • Attend demonstrations with newer BDMs and contribute where necessary
    • Develop a deep understanding of the legal tech market
    • Have an extensive knowledge of the competition and be able to compare/contrast
    • Speak in public, and present onsite at events, webinars, tradeshows, etc.
    • Join on sales calls with law firms to provide deep dives, Q&A, and reviews that are more specific to the firms needs and go beyond the knowledge and experience of the salesperson.
    • Be able to discuss topics including but not limited to trust accounting, invoicing, general ledger accounting, financial reporting, LEAP software, legal matters, e-mail/Word integration, cell phone applications

Requirements

  • Must have an excellent knowledge of the LEAP product both the case management, document assembly and management and legal accounting
  • Good knowledge of QuickBooks Online and Xero
  • Must have a proven legal background attorney, paralegal, law firm office manager
  • Training experience, specifically product training/coaching experience preferred
  • Ability to speak in public and excellent communicator
  • Ability to learn quickly and be comfortable with topics around any part of legal software in the market
  • Proficient in MS Office; familiarity with Salesforce is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills; detail-oriented
  • Demonstrate you are able to be consultative and professional
  • Good at Follow-up, follow-through and organized
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
