The Production Control Assistant will play a pivotal role in supporting our production control team to ensure smooth and efficient operations. This role involves assisting with production planning, inventory management, and scheduling to optimize our manufacturing processes. Location: Kerman| Compensation: $18-$22, DOE| Schedule: Mon-Thurs, 6am-4:30pm| Great Benefits Package| Industry: Manufacturing

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records, monitoring stock levels, and coordinating replenishment as needed
  • Collaborate with the production control team to plan and schedule manufacturing activities based on production goals and customer orders
  • Work closely with various departments to ensure the timely release and scheduling of production orders, ensuring alignment with production capacity
  • Analyze production data and performance metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement, contributing to enhanced efficiency
  • Maintain organized records of production orders, inventory levels, and production schedules
  • Generate reports and dashboards to communicate production progress and key performance indicators (KPIs) to management
  • Assist in monitoring product quality and adherence to production standards, reporting any deviations or issues
  • Collaborate with other departments, including procurement, manufacturing, and logistics, to optimize production processes and ensure timely delivery to customers

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • 1+ years experience in a manufacturing industry
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy
  • Detail Oriented
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure
