Preferred Qualifications:

Completion of graduate core program in public health, mental health, nursing, public policy, public administration, social or behavioral science or education-related field preferred, with 5 years of experience in federal or state government or as an administrator in a local education agency or medical setting.

  • Excellent relationship-building and organizational skills, with demonstrated success engaging broad and diverse internal and external stakeholders;
  • Strong working knowledge of issues affecting education and Ohios students, educators and school personnel, including mental health, physical health and other wellness supports.
  • Experience working in an education or state or federal government setting supporting the wellness needs of students, educators and school personnel;
  • Experience working with grants and contracts;
  • Extensive project management experience;
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills;
  • Ability to adapt to a changing environment and handle multiple priorities; and
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, customer service, writing, problem-solving and analytical skills.
