Job Description

Amazon India s Other Hardlines (OHL) Category Team is looking for an exceptionally motivated, talented, and experienced Program Manager with strong customer obsession and a background in continuous improvement. In this role, you will be responsible for driving key Selection programs for OHL. You will work closely with central program teams for continuously improving the programs and category & seller teams to drive adoption of these programs to drive key selection for OHL. Additionally, the role requires you to be a visionary leader with senior stakeholder engagement skills, and proven organizational abilities. To be successful in this position, you need to pair strong continuous improvement skills with great partnership skills in order to deliver results. This role requires a high degree of autonomy, self-possession, drive, and the ability to problem solve. You will be well suited to this role if you excel in managing a variety of job responsibilities, are customer-focused, resourceful, team-oriented, and have an ability to work independently under time constraints. You should have a proven record of accomplishment in taking on end-to-end meaty problems, and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. You ll enjoy breaking things to see how they work, improving on what works, discarding what doesn't, and learning from both.
Key job responsibilities
1) Drive OHL Selection program charters - This will involve creating cross partner team mechanisms, driving adoption for these mechanisms through detailed dashboards and periodic review, engaging with leadership across teams for alignment on challenges.
2) Work closely with senior OHL leadership - Craft the roadmap for Selection over 1 to 3 years and update leadership regularly on key initiatives as part of the roadmap. Represent OHL interests in central program roadmap discussions
3) Process Improvement - Identify customer problems from selection standpoint and effectively work with relevant stakeholders to bridge the gaps in current processes to deliver superior customer experience. Build high-quality, standardized processes for driving programs at scale, drive automation efforts, and develop best practices.
4) Stakeholder Management - Work with partner teams, process owners and stakeholders (central owners, category, seller and marketing teams) to drive continuous program expansion across OHL categories and lead process improvements that optimize brand/seller adoption across programs
5) Identifying New Initiatives - Identify and scope new program opportunities that helps drive selection for OHL, build the case for OHL, work with central program owners and other businesses to understand and develop the program strategy and playbook for OHL
7) Remain flexible to changing priorities, open to new ideas, and have Amazon's success firmly in your focus.
We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:
Bengaluru, KA, IND, - 3+ years of program or project management experience
- 3+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
- 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements - 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
- 3+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
- Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
