Summary: The Project Management & Planning Advisor - Plays a key role in operational and planning support for the portfolio of transformational projects, technology implementations, and process / procedure improvement initiatives. This is a hands-on project management person will work with the Chief of Technology Officer and leaders to drive operating standards to support the organization. The successful candidate will be able to lead projects by building understanding, awareness, and trust of their internal stakeholders.
- Provide operational and planning support for portfolio of transformational projects, technology implementations, and process / procedure improvement initiatives. Work with leaders as assigned to drive operational discipline and improvement across the organization.
- Work closely with the CTO to develop a framework for managing, tracking, and communicating multiple concurrent strategic programs, projects, and activities.
- Facilitate project team efforts to define and manage scope, develop roadmaps, prioritize, and deliver objectives and features. Ensure identification and coordination of dependencies among interrelated efforts.
- Develop and oversee processes to continually track and communicate program status, issues and solutions using appropriate tools.
- Coordinate efforts of technology and other vendors and hold accountable for delivery of contractual commitments.
- Continually seek ways to improve processes, operations, and coordination across the organization.
- Monitor and manage budget of programmatic efforts.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:Education:
- Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) or three to five years related experience.
Required Knowledge/Skills:Desired Experiences:
- Experience with Project, Product, and/or Process Management
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
- Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma process improvement desired.
- Knowledge of Change Management procedures desired.
- Experience in financial institutions preferred.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow.
- Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams.
- Acute attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to plan and organize projects.
- Interested and excited about technology, data, operations, and culture change.
