What You Will Be Doing

In this role, you will work as a liaison between project owner, architect, superintendent, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure a smooth and safe completion of the project that exceeds the client's expectations. You will manage all aspects of construction projects, including contract administration, buy-out of materials and subcontracts, scheduling, submittal process, requests for information, change orders, preconstruction and progress meetings, schedule of values/monthly applications for payment and coordination of project closeout, etc. Most of our projects are additions and renovations (not much ground up).

What You Need for this Position

At Least 10 Years Of Commercial Construction Experience, With

• Several years of experience as a Project Manager for a general contractor with prior School and Local Government construction experience
• The desire to want to grow within the company
• A smart, go-getter type of personality
• High level of experience with construction / scheduling software (Proficiency with ComputerEase / DellTech is a PLUS)
• Great Tenure with previous employment (hasn't hopped around from job to job a lot in the past)
• An ability to represent us in the most positive and professional manner with respect to clients, consultants, subcontractors, vendors, employees and the communities we serve
• An ability to handle proprietary and confidential information with tact and discretion
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage several projects concurrently
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Construction Management degree or related field preferred but not required
• Prior construction experience in the Dallas / Fort Worth (DFW) area is preferred
