Job Title: Project Manager - Finance
Location: Only East coast/ Remote
Duration: 6+ Months

Job Description:
Serve as primary liaison between the Finance user community and the IT Technical team, ensuring that business processes and requirements are unambiguous, testable, measurable, and articulated in a manner that allows the technical team to propose, estimate and construct appropriate solutions.
Build strong relationships with internal business peers and develop/maintain an understanding of the business process areas under our responsibility that is equal to or exceeding those of our colleagues operating the business.
Organize, lead, and facilitate multiple highly complex, cross-functional, enterprise data and analytics initiatives.
Work closely with stakeholders to create and maintain a product roadmap in Jira. Continuously groom and prioritize the backlog based on stakeholder expectations across groups and help in negotiating priorities.
Assist team in prioritization of bug fixes and enhancement requests as part of run-rate activities supporting business operations.
Excellent presentation and communication skills, including the ability to explain the technical subject matter to a non-technical audience.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment and agility to alternate between strategic projects and tactical reporting/analysis requests.

Skills
7-10 years of experience as a BI Analyst, Data Analyst or similar positions with direct experience in data analysis. Experience in a financial role is a must.
Strong financial acumen including financial modeling skills and familiarity with financial models, statements, accounting terms and sub ledger reporting.
Familiarity with business operations, KPI's, terms Accounting rate of return (ARR), Annual contract value (ACV) , BBB reporting, Billing & Revenue metrics
Excellent communication skills required in order to negotiate internally, often at a senior level.
Willing to work in collaborative, cross-functional group.
Experience with Financial systems/applications like SAP, SFDC, Zuora, Zuora RevPro, Thomson Reuters, Anaplan etc.
5+ years' experience in working as a Product Owner.
3+ years' experience with implementing and/or supporting Business Intelligence Tools (i.e., PowerBI, Tableau and/or Looker or equivalent)
Experience with and sound understanding of the modern cloud-based data warehouses technologies such as Snowflake(preferred), Google, Amazon, Azure
Experience with Sales applications like Salesforce, NetSuite, Clari, etc.
Strong Technical background and capability to write advance queries to do data analysis and mining.
Experience with and/or knowledge of Agile Software Development methodologies (Jira preferred)
Strong command of data modelling, data integration, data virtualization, data warehousing, in-memory computing, major BI platforms
