Description:This proposal analyst position supports the Air to Ground Missile Systems (Hellfire/JAGM/Launcher) programs. General job responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Developing, planning & scheduling proposals for the AGMS program in accordance with estimating policy, Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) & Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFARS) requirements, System Requirements & other govt. regulations. Shape, develop & mature business case analyses & cost methods resulting in comprehensive bid/price strategies. Develop initiatives to increase profitability & cashflow. Act as the estimating lead on proposals compiling cost, schedule, & technical elements to development proposals in accordance with Request For Proposal (RFP) specs. Perform rate studies & analysis, business case development, cash flow analysis, NPV & IRR, and present analyses & recommendations to leaders. Research & analyze historical data, develop cost models to support proposal efforts & determination of accuracy of functional estimates. Participate in contract negotiations & interact with DCAA and other audit agencies.
Develop, communicate, & implement Estimating & Pricing policies/procedures, & conduct monitoring & surveillance activities to ensure that the policies/procedures are being thoroughly & consistently implemented. Possess comprehensive written & oral communications skills to support proposal development activities, executive proposal reviews, fact-finding & negotiations, & interaction with DCAA/other audit agencies. Basic Qualifications: Possess strong work ethic as well as exceptional analytical, communication and problem-solving skills Personal management skills The ability to plan and manage multiple assignments and tasks, set priorities, and adapt to changing conditions and work assignments Ability to work independently and meet hard deadlines with a positive attitude Advanced proficiency with MS Office suite applications; Excel, PowerPoint, and Word Ability to work in fast-paced environment Prior Estimating experience: Proposal/Cost Volume preparation, Negotiations, BOE development, EPP process and presentation Desired Skills: Strong understanding of TINA requirements, process and Certification Accounting or Finance degree Experience utilizing MFC financial systems Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
