Behavioral Health Solutions is seeking Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners or Family Nurse Practitioners licensed in Colorado to work direct care in Skilled Nursing Facilities.

Responsibilities
- Provide face to face psychiatric services to patients directly in Skilled Nursing Facilities.
- Assess patients mental status based on symptoms.
- Appropriately diagnose DSM-V disorders and develop treatment plans.
- Apply appropriate medical decision-making skills for mental health issues including psychopharmacology options and non-pharmacological treatments.
- Staff clinical cases with psychiatrists.

Requirements
- Licensed in Colorado by the Board of Nursing in good standing as an PMHNP or FNP with a focus in mental health.
- Licensed by the Colorado Board of Pharmacy in good standing to prescribe controlled substances.
- Possession of an X-Wavier for Suboxone treatment (Optional).
- New graduates welcome to apply.
- Must be compliant with CDC guidelines regarding vaccinations and boosters.
- 1 year within Psych setting.
Skills
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Experience with EMR/EHR Systems (Athena a plus).
- Excellent written communication.
- Attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Flexible, organized and functions under stressful situations.
- Fluency in Spanish is a plus.

Pay: $63 - $82 per billable hour (based on status)
- W2 and Independent Contractor options available.
- Compensation determined based on pay model preferred, experience and licensure.
