Behavioral Health Solutions is seeking Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners (PMHNP) and Family Nurse Practitioners (FNP) licensed in Nevada to work direct care in Skilled Nursing Facilities. Whether you join as a W2 Employee, or an Independent Contractor, you will have the freedom to create your own schedule, hours, and size of caseload.

Service areas incorporate: Las Vegas, Henderson

Responsibilities:

• Provide face to face psychiatric services to patients directly in Skilled Nursing Facilities.
• Assess patients mental status based on symptoms.
• Appropriately diagnose DSM-V disorders and develop treatment plans.
• Apply appropriate medical decision-making skills for mental health issues including psychopharmacology options and non-pharmacological treatments.
• Staff clinical cases with psychiatrists.

Job Types: Full time or Part-time available, W2 Billable Hourly (1099 Independent Contractor available)

Requirements

• Licensed in Nevada by the Board of Nursing in good standing as a PMHNP or FNP with a focus in psychiatry.
• Licensed by the Nevada Board of Pharmacy in good standing to prescribe controlled substances.
• Possession of an X-Wavier for Suboxone treatment (Optional).
• Must be compliant with CDC guidelines for vaccinations and boosters.
• 1 year experience within Psych setting.

Skills:

• Basic computer knowledge.
• Experience with EMR/EHR Systems (Athena I, a plus).
• Excellent written communication.
• Attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Flexible, organized and functions under stressful situations.
• Fluency in Spanish is a PLUS!

Pay:

• $50.00 to $69.00 per Billable Hour. W2 and Independent Contractor options available.
• Compensation determined based on pay model preferred, experience and licensure.
