Job Description
A manufacturing company is seeking a machinist to set-up and operate Punch Press Machines. There is an opening on both first shift with overtime on Friday as needed.

Job Duties:

Set up and operate mechanical and hydraulic trim presses
Operate a trim press for removing die casting gates, runners, and visually inspect castings, hand grind, file, or buff die castings
Oversee the operations of Trim Department
Will transport die castings to secondary departments for processing
Review daily production cards of department, signing off, and turn in to front office for processing
Review efficiency rates of trim department and make suggestions on process and efficiency improvement
Will be cross trained and perform other duties as needed

Job Requirements
Job Qualifications:

Three years experience with setting-up and operating Punch Press Machines is preferred
Must be able to operate a tow motor
Must have steel toed shoes
Must be safety-conscious
