The Purchasing Coordinator will assist in daily activities of the Purchasing Department which include ensuring on time deliveries and maintaining data in the ERP system timely and accurately.


Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Communicate effectively with Purchasing Manager, Customer Service Representatives and Warehouse personnel
  • Assist with Bulk Material Requirement Planning
  • Contribute to the integrity of company purchases through verification and maintenance of all required purchasing documents
  • Ensure supplier orders are delivered on time
  • Place non-inventory purchase orders
  • Maintain ERP system by updating purchase orders with delivery information
  • Maintain KPI tracking and reporting
  • Issue bi-weekly open order status report to suppliers
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree and /or sufficient related work experience.
  • Basic knowledge of business principles and processes and office protocol.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Operating System and Office Applications, including strong Excel skills.
  • Must have good time-management, prioritization and organizational skills.
