QAD Functional Consultant

• 10+ years of experience in QAD implementation or QAD production support
• Strong Progress 4GL knowledge.
• In-depth understanding of QAD transactions and related tables
• Experience in QAD customizations is a plus
• Strong in at-least two modules of QAD (Sales, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Finance)
• Knowledge of UNIX /Linux shell scripting is a plus.

• Production support experience working with offshore team

8 + Years integration experience in QAD functional consultant role

Candidate is expected to play the role of QAD support Onsite Lead covering both day to day operations support.

The candidate should have hands-on in-depth work experience for the below listed responsibilities

• Take care of QAD functional support, perform regular operation support activities on day to day basis
• Weekly status reporting to client IT manager
• Coordination with offshore team for managing the support and development activities
• Work independently with technical and business stakeholders to resolve production support issues
• Work independently with technical and business stakeholders to understand business requirements, perform due diligence and recommend appropriate "to be" solution design
• Perform UAT with the business users
• Solution design proposal/review for integration needs of upcoming new projects

• Excellent communications skills - verbal & written.
• Experience of handling large customers with multiple manufacturing locations
• Experience of supporting high visibility critical 24x7 projects
• Should have performed customer facing role -- being the escalation point for major issues and providing status updates to all stakeholders.
• Should have experience of managing and mentoring large teams spread across multiple geographies.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing business processes. Should have the ability of take part in business discussions regarding solutions on business related issues.
• Highly self-motivated and should have the ability to motivate team members of varied experience levels.
