Job Summary

We are seeking a Software Quality Assurance Specialist/Applications Tester. The Tester will be part of a team responsible for testing applications (supporting Security and Medical Applications), conducting regression testing and automating testing activities.

The Tester will be responsible for testing all aspects of the application including setting up use case testing, regression testing, designing and running test scenarios, ensure all requirements/user stories are built as designed, assisting with writing test plans as well as detecting, tracking, reporting, and communicating any test defects. Tester may be asked to create tests for ad hoc situations such as replicating user reported problems under specific conditions. The Tester will be responsible for assisting with moving the team towards Test Driven Development principles and effectively ensure the team at large has a full understanding of testing principles.

Mandatory Skills:

• Experience with manually testing of web-based applications (e.g. Java, J2EE, JSP, technologies, including EJBs and Web Services)


• Experience with detecting, tracking, reporting, and communicating any test defects effectively.


• Crating Test Cases,


• Maintaining RTM


• Regression Testing


• Black Box Testing, Functional Testing, Positive Testing, Negative Testing, etc.

Desired Skills

• Experience with agile development methodologies and test driven development


• Experience with supporting Help Desks


• Strong oral and written communication skills


• Automation Testing with selenium
