Quality Assurance Engineer

Job DescriptionJob Title: Quality Assurance Engineer Key Responsibilities: 1. Conduct testing procedures for various software applications, including web-based, desktop, and mobile applications. 2. Perform functional testing, regression testing, and compatibility testing to ensure the stability and integrity of software products. 3. Develop and maintain automated test scripts for regression testing and continuous integration processes. 4. Execute load testing to assess the performance and scalability of applications under various conditions. 5. Collaborate effectively with developers and other stakeholders to identify and resolve software defects and issues. 6. Comfortable with SQL Server for database testing, including data validation and integrity checks. 7. Conduct API testing to verify the functionality and reliability of backend services. 8. Create comprehensive test plans and test cases based on project requirements and specifications. 9. Document and report defects, test results. and overall quality metrics to project stakeholders. 10. Stay updated on industry best practices in software testing and quality assurance. Qualification: 1. Bachelor degree or Masters in Computer Science. 2. Possess 3-5 years of experience in software quality assurance, focusing database, API testing, load testing, and application testing. 3. Good understanding in database for data querying and validation. 4. Candidates should have experience with testing tools such as Selenium, Postman, JMeter and other tools. 5. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and tools like JIRA or others. 6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills along with keen attention to detail. 7. Effective communication and collaboration abilities are expected, with a demonstrated capacity to work effectively in a team environment. 8. Ability to work on multiple projects and prioritize workload accordingly. 9. Experience in testing windows, web application and mobile apps. 10. Having strong understanding with Software development life cycle. Location: Noida.
