Position Responsibilities:
Serve as part of a team of quality assurance engineers engaged in distributed automated testing for large scale/enterprise class development projects working under the supervision of a more senior QA Engineer. Conduct requirements gathering and analysis on-site; contribute to development of test strategy; prepare test plans; participate in daily tasks among junior QA team members located on and off-shore using various testing methodologies and testing tools such as Selenium and/or QTP; monitor test activities; engage in defect tracking; analyze risk and implement mitigation and contingency plans; ensure QA deliverables conform to quality standards. Employee will work in various locations throughout the US that cannot be anticipated at this time. Employer is an IT consulting firm that assigns employees, often on short notice, to work at various project sites that cannot be anticipated significantly in advance of the assignment.
The experience and education requirements are:
One (1) year of QA testing for Enterprise Class systems in a globally distributed environment.
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering or a related field
