Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance (QA) Tester to join our team. As a QA Tester, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our web applications through the creation and execution of automated test scripts. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will identify and resolve potential issues, improve testing processes, and contribute to the overall enhancement of product quality.

Duties:

• Develop and execute automated test scripts using industry-standard frameworks and tools for web applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve potential issues, driving effective problem resolution.
• Design comprehensive test cases covering various use cases, including edge cases and user error scenarios.
• Utilize bug tracking software to document, track, and manage issues throughout the testing lifecycle.
• Stay up to date with the latest trends, tools, and methodologies in QA testing, continuously improving testing techniques.
• Apply analytical and problem-solving skills to identify vulnerabilities and provide actionable recommendations.
• Pay meticulous attention to detail to identify defects in the web application.
• Conduct performance testing, including load testing and stress testing, to ensure scalability and performance.

Qualifications:

• 5-8 years of experience in creating and running automated test cases for web applications.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.
• Expertise in designing comprehensive test cases and managing bug tracking.
• Adaptability and a continuous learning mindset, staying up to date with QA testing trends.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with databases and SQL.
• Experience with one or more of the following database servers: Oracle, Vertica, Snowflake, BigQuery, or Postgres.
• Experience with AngularJS or Spring Boot.
• Able to use DBeaver, Toad or SQL Developer to run queries and view data.
