Job Title: Quality Control Technician - Animal Health
Location: Elkhorn, NE
Duration: 6 months
Qualifications:
High School diploma/GED required. Bachelor's degree in a technical-scientific discipline preferred
Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and coordinate multiple projects
Ability to follow procedural guidelines and record data accurately
Strong computer skills and communication skills
One to three years of experience in a biologic laboratory setting preferred
Ability to troubleshoot assay issues and assume additional technical responsibilities with little supervision
Ability to work flexible work schedule, including overtime, holidays and weekends
Responsibilities:
Perform routine test media preparation, test sample distribution, laboratory equipment cleaning/sterilization, instrument calibrations, and other duties as assigned
Review internal documents against regulatory requirements for accuracy and compliance
Test and analyze samples or substances using sensitive equipment and report findings to laboratory manager
Perform aseptic procedures such as product formulation, fill equipment setup and operation, and environmental monitoring
Maintain safety and quality standards and comply with all company policies and procedures
Assist with training new team members and updating standard operating procedures as needed
Review and report on test data and product development processes
