As a Quality Engineering Lead, Hardware, you play a key role in bringing Ossias breakthrough wireless power technology to masses. You work with Ossias CM and network of vendors as well as internal Operations, Engineering, Product Management and Customer Success teams to ensure Ossia components and devices meet the highest quality standards. In this role, you will:

  • Establish Ossias quality standards in collaboration with Engineering, Product Management and Customer Success
  • Work with CMs and vendors to ensure adherence to Ossias established standards by implementing Outgoing and Incoming Quality Control (OQC/IQC)
  • Analyze quality deviations and drive the resolution through design changes or process improvements
  • Lead Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis (PFMEA) on new technologies and manufacturing processes
  • Manage quality escalation and support root cause analysis
  • Generate Product Quality Plan (PQP)
  • Establish a quality monitoring mechanism that generates meaningful metrics, providing indication of outgoing quality at all nodes in the supply chain
  • Develop/drive test correlation, metrology systems and sampling methods
  • Develop reliability test plans and protocols and lead the partnership with external labs

Requirements

  • 8-10 years of experience in quality engineering within the consumer electronics industry
  • Previous experience with Smartsheet, Jira and collaboration tools (Microsoft or Google)
  • Experience with wireless and RF technologies is a plus
  • Domestic and international travel is required, up to 25%
  • Expected to work from the HQ in Redmond at least 80% of the time

Education

BS/MS (preferred) in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Physics
