Duties ~ About the Job

Seeking a talented engineer who enjoys being hands-on with electro-mechanical devices and wearing multi-hats. You will be involved in quality, test, manufacturing, troubleshooting and working with a variety of engineering teams. Your skills will have a big impact at this fast-paced, social good company. You will do interesting work and continue to grow your knowledge.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• 10+ years of hands-on Quality, Manufacturing or Test Engineering experience


• At least 5 years experience working with electro-mechanical devices(link removed)>
  
• Strong failure analysis, root cause analysis and related


• Good knowledge of test procedures.


• Experience writing test plans, creating test cases, running tests, diagnostics, and calibrations..


• Experience troubleshooting PCBs, electro-mechanical devices, industrial automation or robotics.


• Experience investigating and troubleshooting product or production issues for industrial automation, electro-mechanical devices, robotics or similar.


• Experience developing corrective actions, solutions, and improvements.


• Some experience or knowledge developing and implementing quality standards and quality control systems.


• Ability to monitor and analyze quality performance.


• Some experience Inspecting and testing materials, equipment, processes, and products to ensure quality specifications are met.


• Ability to ensure that workflows, processes, and products comply with safety regulations and quality standards.


• Ability to write up the final QA and test procedures for the quality technicians and other documentation.


• Able to ensure all tests and procedures meet company and industry standards.


• Some experience evaluating existing manufacturing processes and identifying areas for improvement.


• Good written and verbal communication skills.
