SUMMARY

Contractor in Downtown Minneapolis is looking for experienced Commercial & Residential Carpenters / Re-Modelers to begin immediately. We do commercial remodels of hospitality and retail businesses, and high end residential homes. Looking for someone who can do work for very discerning customers. Candidates must have own tools, form of transportation and must have weekday availability. Must be familiar with all aspects of remodeling (to include a general understanding of the other building trades-plumbing, electrical, HVAC). Please email resume or list of commercial and/or residential experiences, what part of the trades you are most proficient working on, and the hourly rate you would be available to start at.

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 3 years experience in the carpentry trade with diverse experience. Light electrical and plumbing experience a plus


• Knowledge of safe operation of basic hand and power tools


• Knowledge of workplace safety and safe lifting and handling procedures


• Must have your own tools


• Must be able to lift 50 lbs


• Strong attention to detail


• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent

RESPONSIBILITIES

• General carpentry, finish carpentry, framing / framework, build metal stud walls, drywall, tape, flooring, and install metal doors


• Perform minor building repairs


• Maintain building interiors and exteriors


• Perform other related duties as required
